Condensation is a common problem but there is a solution to control condensation and once we have accessed the problem and understand the contributing factors it can be resolved quickly and effectively. We are confident that our condensation control units will get rid of your problem completely.

Dry rot will only affect timber that is damp. For this reason, removing the source of moisture should form the core of any dry rot eradication strategy. Among the most common causes are leaking washing machines, shower trays, baths and condensation. Whatever, the source of the dampness, if it is rectified and the timber allowed to properly dry out, the dry rot will eventually be controlled.

Woodworm eggs are laid in cracks and crevices in wooden objects, floorboards and timbers by adult beetles. They burrow through timber and live inside the wood, tunelling and feeding for several years. As the larvae increases in size they bore towards the wood surface. Our first step, is to keep humidity levels low and ensure good ventilation. The second is to remove and replace affected wood to avoid woodworm spreading. As a third measure, we can also install insect killers to target emerging beetles between the months of April - September.
